I'm throwing this topic up here while I can still puke out some thoughts.

If you're reading this on 1 Jan 2001, hopefully some of the advice in this thread can get you through the day.

First off, stay away from tuna salad with anchovy past as a thickener no matter HOW much you like it as a dip for your Oreos. Try a lard-smoothie instead to balance your electrolites http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/wink.gif

Some methods are tried and true. What works for you?

Eat a lot of bread before you get drunk - it soaks up the alcohol so it gets released into your system slower.

And eat lots of pretzels and drink a lot of fluid. Alcohol is a diuretic, meaning you piss more than you drink, so you lose a lot of liquid and with it salt. Which is why you get the headspins feeling from a headache, it's lack of salt in the brain. Hence the pretzels. Oh, and know your tolerances. Nothing can stop alcohol poisoning, except not getting it in the first place.

The bread thing also works with spicy foods BTW. It is better then drinking water.

The best way I have found is after you are done drinking, drink a shitload of water and sleep. Dilutes it, rehydrates you, whatever. You'll wake up feeling bloated and kind of weird, but not hungover.

Of course, the best method is to never stop drinking. I have found that works just as well.

That and heroin.

I like cream cheese and jelly sandwiches. Everyone I know thinks its wierd and sick.

I also like hershey's syrup & peanut butter on a spoon.

I like to suck on rock salt.

And I've always had a thing for potato chips on my sandwiches and burgers.

I eat Equal out of the packets at restaurants.

When my tummy hurts I pour baking soda in water and drink it.

I will only eat bananas if they are covered in 50% spots or more.

That's All...

Looking at those combinations makes me want to go on a strict diet of tuna on toast. Without the usuall bullshit.

I'll stick with water & carbohydrates thanks.

That stuff works for me. IT is also what I crave after a night of drinking... I don't know why, I just do...
