My approach to SPF:

I feel it is silly to have ANY expectations at all when it involves the SPF.

Log in. Check it out.

If it is amusing/entertaining/intriguing/etc...stay and enjoy yourself for a bit.

If it is boring/stupid/dead/etc...go elsewhere.

It's a BIG internet.

Yeah, it's been pretty bad lately...the Asylum's been pretty boring too as of late...and so have all my other boards I post at...is everyone getting boring? http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

As for the SPF, I like it...I still stick around, but it's mostly to screw around with people...still talk to some from there. That's really the only reason I still go.

SPF has its moments. What pisses me off is all the high school crap and tag teaming that goes on. I am sure that nipple and Murderous Donkey have carnal knowledge of eachother.

I would bew a TOTAL hypocrite were i to say that I have not been a party ot the HS mentalitity there as of late, but that's the purpose it serves... a place to be an ass...

i hope I will be a valued member here tho, I will do my best to overcome the many, many obstacles that are inherint in being me, and posting interesting stuff nonetheless, even whilst drunk......

The SPF is a virtual stinky smelly sewage were people to come to expose the most darkest side of there personality. You can't take any seriously around there because you'll get suck into that dark void that long time users and abusers can not escape from. To a first time users the SPF is unpleasant, foul, vulgar, and just plain evil.... But as the newbie returns day after day to feed those dark desires that inhabit all of us. Soon the person is addicted. A person finds themselves unable to turn away from the foul language, racial slurs, the midget fuck slut, and lets not for get the asian scat whores. i just like the fact that i can say anything there, and that's that...Like, i think the asylum people think too highly of themselves, and would criticize anything that anyone says because they think they're better than everyone. Or something. I just don't like it there.

I have to agree with you there. I like the fact that intelligent conversation goes on, but I feel really out of place when I post there cause I haven't been around since day 1. There is a LOT of superiority there...

Yeah. i mean there are alot of them that are cool, and i do like, but most of them are just snotty and think they're the hottest shit since wrapped candy, you know? blah... And the saddest thing is, i was there at the SPF when the idea for the asylum even came about, and i was against it from that moment, i knew there would be alot of elitism going on, and etc. Apparently i was right.
